Welcome to Top Notch Garage Doors, your go-to garage door installation and repair service in Greensboro, NC. By using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern our relationship with you.

​Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC Warranty Agreement

 

At Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC, our commitment is to ensure that we provide the highest quality service and materials for your garage door needs. We pride ourselves on fixing garage doors right the first time, and we stand behind our workmanship with a comprehensive warranty.

What's Covered?

For installation of a new garage door, our warranty covers defects in workmanship for the term specified on the front page of the invoice, starting from the date of installation. This warranty includes labor furnished by Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC as part of installing the new garage door.

Warranty Details:

  • Default Warranty: We provide a standard 2-year warranty on all our services, excluding cosmetic and accidental damage. This warranty covers parts for 2 year and labor for 60 days from the date of service.

  • Repairs: Parts are covered for 2 years, and labor is covered for 60 days from the date of repair.

  • Junk Removal: We do not provide warranty services for junk removal, hauling, moving, transportation, or relocation of any items related to our junk removal services upon booking. In certain circumstances, Top-Notch Garage Doors may offer a courtesy reimbursement for small incidentals related to the above-mentioned services, up to $150.00 per occurrence, at our discretion.

Additional Warranty Options:

  • Premium Pricing: We offer other warranty pricing options at premium rates, providing extended coverage and additional benefits.

  • Company Discretion: All available warranty options are subject to the company's final approval to sell, honor, or adhere based on the company's discretion.

Please note that the warranty for the door and its parts is covered separately by the manufacturer.

For repairs and overhauls to existing garage doors, our warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts furnished by Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC as part of the repair. This warranty is also subject to the term specified on the front page of the invoice.

 

 

What's Not Covered?

Our warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by unauthorized personnel. Additionally, it does not cover consequential or incidental damages, abuse, misuse, civil disturbance, Acts of God, or commercial door installation or repair. Problems caused by displaced, misaligned, or disconnected door cables are also not covered.

How Long Coverage Lasts

The warranty period begins upon completion of repairs or installations and cannot be transferred. For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty remains valid for as long as the original customer owns the repaired garage door. However, it terminates upon sale or transfer of ownership. For new garage door installations and complete overhaul repairs, the labor warranty is for the term indicated on the front page of the invoice from the date of installation or repair. These kinds of services are transferrable with the property address.

State Law and Terms

This warranty adheres to the standard practices of NC state law. Your invoice serves as your receipt and must be presented for warranty work. Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC is not responsible for providing proof of warranty.

Work Order Agreement

Work Agreement

 

This Work Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC ("Company") and the Customer to whom signs this agreement.

 

1. Scope of Work: The Company agrees to perform garage door installation, repair, maintenance, and related services ("Services") as requested by the Customer. The specific details of the Services, including pricing and timelines, will be outlined in a separate written estimate or contract.

 

2. Service Expectations: The Company will strive to perform the Services with professionalism, skill, and efficiency. The Customer can expect timely communication, adherence to agreed-upon schedules, and high-quality workmanship.

 

3. Payment Terms: TNGD does not offer refunds. All sales are final. Payment for services rendered will be due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The Customer agrees to pay all fees and expenses associated with the Services as outlined in the estimate and/ or invoice.

 

4. Warranty: The Company warrants that all Services provided will be free from defects in workmanship for a period specified in the warranty policy. Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the specified timeframe.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities: The Customer agrees to provide clear access to the work area and to ensure the safety of Company personnel while on the premises. Any hindrances to the completion of the Services caused by the Customer may result in additional fees.

 

6. Safety: The Company prioritizes the safety of its personnel and the Customer's property. All work will be performed per industry best practices and safety standards.

 

7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under this Agreement will be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 Days of the date the invoice was created, the parties agree to pursue mediation or arbitration as a means of resolving the dispute.

 

8. Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Customer will be responsible for payment of any Services rendered up to the termination date.

 

9. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina.

 

10. Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

 

By signing below, the parties acknowledge their acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.

 

Top-Notch Garage Doors LLC Warranty Agreement

All TNGD parts are covered for 2 years, and labor is covered for 60 days from the date of service. TNGD does not cover cosmetic and accidental damage beyond date of service. Before the technician leaves, it is the customer's responsibility to thoroughly inspect all materials for cosmetic approval.

 

Screen Door Warranty: TDNG offers warranty of all ASW and Lifestyle Door products and services. Parts in this category come with a standard warranty of 2 years. The labor warranty is for 60 days. New screen doors/ windows come with a standard warranty of 5 years.

 

Junk Removal: We do not provide warranty services for junk removal, hauling, moving, transportation, or relocation of any items related to our junk removal services upon booking. In certain circumstances, Top-Notch Garage Doors may offer a courtesy reimbursement for small incidentals related to the above-mentioned services, up to $150.00 per occurrence.

 

Other Warranty:

 

Additional Warranty Options: All other parts and services are honored by our default warranty of 2 years parts and 60 days labor.

 

Premium Pricing: We offer other warranty pricing options at premium rates, providing extended coverage and additional benefits.

 

Company Discretion: All available warranty options are subject to the company's final approval to sell, promote, or adhere to based on the company's discretion.

Claims: To make a warranty claim schedule an appointment with our office for a technician to come out to process the claim. All warranty matters must be diagnosed in-house by our trusted professionals.
